Autumn's First Loaves

A busy MLK day

Blair and I made bagels...yum!!!

We also played Mario Kart...for a while...until I went to make herbal parmeasan cheese sticks to go with the chili tonight!

We're under a winter weather advisory tonight...hoping for snow, but it will probably just be freezing rain...

Pretzel Day

Friday Night Fun

A little crafting while Blair did his podcast. These are made out of felt and are for my brother-in-law and his wife.

Then, we decorated pretzels. Yummy!!

This is Blair's imitation of stirring chocolate.

The boys decided it had been a long day.

Finished Objects

Baking and Knitting

Yes, I did make five loaves of bread today!

These are a pair of gauntlets that are so cozy!!

Self-Portrait Tuesday

I've done some baking today. I made a massive pot of chili for supper and I'm working on some bread. I made this apron several years ago and it still makes me happy.

More Fall Yummy-ness

With the continued cooler (and drearier) weather today I was still feeling the fall mood. I made these sugar cookies:

and applesauce:

and triple chocolate muffins (which are REALLY yummy):

Now, on a less (or not at all) yummy note, we have officially caught 6 baby mice, so we're hoping that's all of them.

Happy Autumn, everyone! Go bake something!
