We went back to the beach today. It has been a very hot day - the hottest since we've been here. But, it was clear skies and great breezes down on the ocean.
Things here are basically the same. I'm still looking for a job. Petey is still sniffling and sneezing. Turns out the hat I made looks cute in corduroy with a smaller brim.
My knitting is progressing slowly because I have been doing alot of reading lately.
Blair and a sleepy Murray.
A big shout out to Blair who lets me use his computer all the time AND cooked dinner tonight!
I found out this morning that I did not get the job I applied for. I was upset at first, but I know that God has a plan. I spent the last morning out and about. It felt so good to be out of the house!!
Ah, the bliss...
What could possibly be better than tea in a sunshine mug with homemade shortbread and a little light knitting? Not much, except maybe...
...a new hat!! It's the first one I've ever made, and I'm pretty pleased with it! **I got the pattern from Simple Sewing by Lotta Jansdotter.
Oh, and Blair made peanut butter bar cookies. Delicious!!
My husband and I are embracing the adventure that is grad school. We're enjoying our new town and new experiences. I teach k-8 music at a local private school.
